For smoothing surfaces and removing small imperfections, choose 80 to 120-grit sandpaper.
 
180 grit
The 180 grit is a good middle-ground choice that can be used to shape and finish. 
 
How to Use:
 Using the 180 grit side (softer side) gently file the natural nails to remove the shine from the nails and continue with your prep routine.
